2 or 4 cup maker for 1 person

I'm buying this for my husband who is a big coffee drinker and has really started loving a latte or cappuccino in the morning. Is the 4 cup too large for one person if he wants to fill a huge mug w/espresso & milk? 

Also, is the Illy Moka the right espresso for this maker?

: I use the 4-cup for my morning coffee and its just the right amount when put into a big mug of (soy in my case) milk.        The illy is a good espresso for the Brikka but any properly ground coffee will do.  Even the inexpensive Lavazza in vacuum packs makes a nice cuppa.
