Measuring cup lost, can someone tell me how much water it takes?

Hi there, the measuring cup of my 2-cup Brikka got lost during my move from the States to UK. I took a break and didn't use it for a year or so, and now I can't remember how much water I used to put in. I am using a Turkish coffee cup to measure water, and I am not happy with the results. I think I am putting less water than required.

Could someone out there please find out the capacity of original 2-cup Brikka measuring cup (using a kitchen measuring cup)? In milliliters if possible, then I can substitute something else.

Have a great day!

Measuring cup: Hello:

It's approximately 1/4 cup which translates to 2 oz. or about 59 ml. This is measured to the line on the small plastic cup that comes with the Brikka 2 cup.

: if you look inside the base pot there is an "X" just below the safety valve , the centre of this X is the level to fill to ie X marks the spot
